These Private sessions are currently run by Specialist Midwife for Dawes-Redman CTG Monitoring, Director of Dawes-Redman CTG Education. They are Suitable for Institutions who wish to book several people from one team or department.

Course Objectives

By the end of the session, you will understand:

  • What the Dawes-Redman CTG Analysis System is

  • Why computerisation is important

  • How Dawes-Redman CTG Analysis System can be used as an adjunct to clinical assessment

  • How the Dawes-Redman CTG Analysis System can be adopted into clinical practice

  • The benefits and limitations of the Dawes-Redman CTG Analysis System

  • The implications of ‘criteria met’ or ‘not met’

Who is it for? Anybody who uses antepartum CTG but predominantly midwives and obstetricians.

Prerequisites: Basic knowledge of physiology and equipment functionality. Some experience of use would be helpful but not essential.

Course Agenda/Programme: Half day education session - 3 hours
